While the most popular use for this is to carry gym equipment, it works really well for other things. I mainly use it as a replacement for my backpack, to carry notebooks, papers, pens and pencils to class. It is perfect for this, because it is slightly larger than your average notebook, and is ten times lighter than a regular backpack, so if your load isn't too heavy, this is great! It's also good for carrying food and water on hikes, and is great for taking with you when you travel... just stick it somewhere in your luggage; it barely takes up any space.I used to own one of these without the pocket, and I would always have trouble finding small objects like pencils, erasers, or keys at the bottom. The zippered pocket on this one is a major bonus because of this.I've used it for about a month, and so far it seems to be very sturdy. The quality is pretty good. Also, I'm a pretty big guy and with my previous drawstring backpack, the strings were a little short, and sometimes it was a bit tough to put it on, but this one has really long strings, so it's good for anybody.
