HYDRATION RUNNING PACK After rigorous testing & a meticulous pursuit of the 'feeling of nothing on', FITLY have crafted the perfect running hydration pack. Carry small personal items without being weighed down. Complete with a phone holder, storage pockets & thoracic belt, our unisex water running vest makes carrying your personal items & maintaining running form perfectly compatible.
DESIGNED FOR SUB90 RUNS FITLY have designed 3 separate running packs. The Sub45, the Sub90 and the Sub180. The Sub45 is designed for shorter runs, and does not house the FITLY flask and tube. Our Sub90 is specially designed for the runners going the distance, featuring 2 accessible stretch front pockets, a phone pocket, a larger pocket & a thermo-pocket with a custom made 500 ml soft flask for hydration. The Sub180 running water vest is engineered to enable runners to go the longest distance.
FEATHERLESS SENSATION Runners ourselves, we know the importance of feeling weightless and unrestricted when running. We have ensured our running hydration vest for men and women for running women is small and lightweight, and designed with 4 stretch points that move with you. Our running backpack for women is body-fitting and sticks to your every move for fluid, free movement.
CUTTING EDGE COMPONENTS Our hydration vest for running men comes with a clever magnetic closure and silence zipper tabs. It is odor-resistant, moisture wicking, fast drying fabric crafted from recycled coffee ground. The architecture ensures no item will bounce around. The pockets of our hydration running vest are water-resistant and 100% anti-sway pack structure.
SIZING GUIDELINES Our FITLY running pack comes in two sizes XS-S and M-L-XL and are crafted to accommodate for a range of sizes. For the perfect fit, measure 2 inches below the pectoral muscles/ band line. If you are borderline between XS-S and M-L-XL, consider thickness variations (jacket, etc) between summer and winter runs. XS/S is 26 in to 31 in (67 cm to 78 cm) & M/L/XL is 31 in to 40 in (78 cm to 102 cm).
What a great running pack! It’s not too big, it’s not too small. I used to use a belt style for jogging/power walks, but have found they bounce around too much, so I started investigating running packs. I didn’t want something that would be too heavy or make me more sweaty while working out (why I was initially a fan of belts), but as cell phones got bigger, more “stuff” was needed on jogs (chapstick, mace, etc.), and the climate got hotter, I knew I needed a “better” system. This Sub90 is the perfect size. It’s got 2 zipped areas on the back pack part for “stuff.” One is a bigger slot that zips from the top and inside has a divider for a cell phone, credit cards, a power bar, or a battery pack, or something small, and there’s another smaller zipped area on the face of the back pack part for slightly smaller items, like more cards or a couple keys. You can’t fit a sandwich in there, but why would you? If you want a sandwich, you’re probably on a hike and wearing a much larger pack.Along the “thoracic belt” which rides under your chest/along the bottom edge of your jog bra, there are two more side zipper compartments that can also stretch and hold odd shaped items, like their extra “shrink while you drink” flasks, or more power bars, or in my case, I put chapstick and mace there so it’s handy. There no jiggle of the belt or pack, the belt and the pack both stay put without being restrictive (there are adjustable straps, but if you measure and order the right size it’s perfect right out of the box), and there’s no chafing in your ‘pits. The box for the Sub90 includes not only the backpack, but also a mini whistle (I wish it was already on a lanyard or string or something so could be easily attached off a zipper), as well as the 500mL flask and drinking hose with silicone tip. 500mL is just under 17oz, or what I’ve found to be about 21 gulps on the hose. There was also a coupon in there for 20% off another Fitly purchase, so I went to their website and ordered their Fitly Towel/seat cover, which is equally awesome. (It’s not only great for after beach use, but as a frontline provider, I now use my Fitly towel to protect my car seat from cooties I might have been exposed to at the hospital). When you get the pack, you have to cut the hose to your preferred length, and unlike hiking packs, it screws on the top of the flask. Which I was suspicious of from a physics standpoint, but it works. I did notice in order to get those last few precious gulps of water out, I sometimes have to bend over and “collect” the water at the top (while I’m upside down) to fully empty the flask. I did have an issue with the silicone tip popping off (not sure if it was a manufacturer defect or I was just desperate for some water on a blistering walk in 100 degree weather and sucked too hard), but it stopped functioning. I emailed Fitly to inquire about a replacement hose, and they not only helped practically the same day, but had a replacement in my hands ASAP. Wow! What customer service!Bottom line: if you’re looking for a non-annoying pack to hold some hydration, a cell phone, and a few small items, from a company who cares about its customers, Fitly is the one for you! Highly recommend the Sub90, the Fitly Towel, and the company!
