I bought this backpack for a 2 week trip to Europe. Was moving around a lot so I knew I'd need a carry on in backpack form. However, I also have a bad knee, so I didn't want to have the weight of a backpack on me at ALL times. This Hynes backpack worked perfectly. I was able to roll it around through airports/train stations and also able to convert it to backpack when walking to places of lodging.Pros:- Fit all of what I normally would put in a carry on!- Budget airline compliant- Sturdy handle, wheels, and fabric (Though I have only used it on this one trip, I don't know about the durability for the long haul, I'll update when I have taken it on more trips)- Balanced bag (I didn't bring my laptop so I don't know if this would have made the bag tip over when it's in roller mode, but I didn't have any issues, it stayed upright all the time)- Awesome straps on the backpack to keep everything tight and in place. The placement of the zippers made it easy to access my belongings- Easy to convert from backpack to roller- Reasonably pricedCons:- The only con would be that the backpack doesn't have a lower strap to better brace the weight on your lower back. The backpack only has a strap to tighten the straps near your shoulders. This was fine for me since my stuff wasn't that heavy and I also did not have to wear it as a backpack too often. However, when going up the stairs and walking for long distances with the backpack on, I could see this being a little tiring.I'd still definitely recommend to anyone who would like a convertible travel backpack!
