Lightweight Waterproof 20L Hiking Backpack for Travel & Outdoor

This backpack is fantastic - every time I open it up I wonder how a full use backpack folded up so compact and when I go to fold it up I think no way will the straps and everything fit in - but of course it does easily every time.I friend told me about this and now I’m getting one for my pops. I use this for hiking, all outdoor anything - it’s so lightweight it doesn’t even feel like you have on a hot backpackI bought 4 of these backpacks for each of my family members for a recent trip to the Middle East. We spent 11 days traveling all around and stuffed these bad boys to the max. The bags were so incredibly comfortable to carry--super lightweight and not hot in the blazing sun, yet extremely durable and dirt resistant. I was amazed by how well the zippers held up whenever I had to stuff the bags to full (and I mean FULL) capacity. I'm very pleased with this purchase and know we will get years of use from these things. I'm still amazed by the quality and price. This is among the best purchases I've ever made on Amazon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!You always wonder if these mini packs are going to be useful in a real travel situation. I liked a lot of things about this pack, but first - I had to figure out how to unfold it! I thought it came out of the bag pretty much ready to go, but then I didn't see the mesh bottle holders on the sides. Huh! OH! You have to turn the pouch AND the bag inside out! LOLOnce I'd done all that, the backpack appeared rugged but (since I'm in Texas) I've not been able to check the waterproof piece of this. The material used gives it a little structure, actually (which is a good thing). The previous bag I had was from REI, and the fabric would just melt in your hand it was so light. Not rugged at all.I recently visited REI again and found another bag (Sea to Summit) that was like gossamer and fit into a bag about 1/3 of the size of this one. However, I would not feel confident that such a bag would hold up as well as this one. Plus, it was twice the cost!I've seen others talk about poor stitching, but I haven't noticed that with my bag. I also like the colors they offer it in. All in all, a 5-star purchase for me!Got this for a trip to Scotland as a day pack. It worked perfectly! I couldn't be happier and it is cleaned and ready for the next trip. Easy to identify me in that bright yellow. Roomy for a raincoat, lunch and water bottle. Waterproof. Inside pocket for my money and passport.Recommend.We purchased this bag in 2019 and have used it in all sorts of travel and adventures ever since. It has seen Disney, Rock City, Waterparks, Camping Trips, and more! All of which included three kids and our stuff. It is a great size but holds so much. The actual weight of the bag is light but has only just now(August 2022) started to fray. It dries pretty quickly after being wet and folds down small for storage. I never leave reviews but this product has been exceptional! Buy it! You won’t regret it.While getting ready for our trip abroad, we decided that it would be a good idea for both of us to have a decent sized backpack to use as our inflight personal item. After searching for different types of backpacks, we came across these ZOMAKE Ultra Lightweight Packable Backpack and decided to give them a try.We received the two backpacks in small carrying cases, or so we thought, and decided to take one out to see just how big it was. While taking the backpack out of the carrying case, we realized that the backpack appeared to be inside out, but continued to remove it fully before turning it right side out. Once the backpack was fully removed from the carrying case, it then became clear that it wasn't a carrying case, but it was in fact the inner pocket of the main compartment of the backpack. The way that they made the inner pocket the storage and/or carrying case for the backpack is really a great idea and we like it quite a bit.The backpacks are made from a resilient material, based on the sheer number of items we were able to cram into them, and they are elongated to a more natural feel while wearing them on the back. There's a small pocket located on the outside of the front flap and another one on the inside, which doubles as the storage/carrying case. There are also two net style pockets on both sides that were able to have ~16oz water bottle each. After our trip, we washed both backpacks with our laundry (nothing special from the rest) and they turned out looking like new, which is another plus to these backpacks.To try to explain how big these backpacks are, and how much they can store, here is a list of items that we were able to put into only one backpack (see image)...2x deodorant (one 3oz and the other 2.6oz)1 box - 4 5/8” x 3 1/4” x 1 7/8” (It's well made but too bulky when folded up.I can put in a laptop and all cords and a water bottle my lunchThis is so well designed and surprisingly good for a compact little backpack! They're so handy for here in summer when we often set off in shirts but by the time you get up on the moors the wind is howling and rain is threatening and you need your fleece and raincoat! Its nice to not be committed to carrying a backpack for the whole journey because you can just fold it up and tuck it in your pocket!The compact little zip pack opens and the rucksack folds out easily. The little zip pack then turns inside out and becomes an extra zip compartment inside the main part of the rucksack! Brilliant and a really handy hidden away place for valuables! The main compartment easily fits a fleece, waterproof jacket, hat and gloves with room for other bits and pieces. There is a zip compartment on the back and 2 net pouches on either side which are the perfect fit for a 500ml bottle of water securely. It has a carry handle on the top. The straps are easily adjustable for a comfy fit. After use it is very easy to pack away again. It is comfortable to use and we both wore it for a while on yesterday's walk and liked it.Not only will this be great for lots of our outdoor adventures at this time of year but I can see it being really handy for shopping trips and holidays too! Really pleased with it and all its great features!Wel first of all the delivery was very quick and that was with just using standard delivery.I’m going hiking this weekend and didn’t really have a bag suitable, (I’m a novice!)I knew I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a bag as I doubt I’d use it that often so when I saw this one for £10 I thought I couldn’t really go wrong. Even if it doesn’t last very long!I tried it out on a long walk I did last weekend and it was perfect!! Perfect size and the straps were very very comfortable so I didn’t have anything digging in. There are lots of pockets too which it make’s it very handy for carrying smaller items like phones and keys.Super impressed with this bag!Needed a small, lightweight backpack for a trip to Venice. I did not expect too much given the price. I was very pleasantly surprised. Rather than the thin ‘umbrella’ like nylon that I was expecting, this backpack is well made of relatively thick material and was easy to re-pack into the pouch to pop in a suitcase for the return flight. The backpack is large enough to hold everything we needed for the day, with plenty more room to spare. It is very comfortable to wear, even over thick clothing.As ever, the backpack was received when advised, which was important as this was a last minute purchase before our trip. This will now be a permanent item in my suitcase for future trips.Bought this to use as a second backpack on flights to put all the stuff out of my main backpack that you want access to during the flight, but just won't fit into that stupid little elasticated holder on the back of the chair in front of you. It worked great - took up almost no room in my main backpack when not in use and was quick and easy to refold into it's built in bag ( though I would recommend, a few practice runs) -Just remember, turn the pocket inside out, then turn the rest of the back inside out making sure the straps are inside. Do the main zips up almost all the way (leave a small gap otherwise it will be difficult to open themm again). Fold the main bag flat to get air out, then fold in half towards the pocket and flatten again. Fold the two sides in towards the center (about 1/3 width of each fold) so that the folded width is the same as the pocket opening. NOw fold the whole lot into the bag. If you've done it right it should go in without a struggle. Finally do up the zip.So far I've used this bag on about 5 trips and it hasn't let me down yet.Okay, not the kind of bag you climb Mount Everest with but as a convenient bag that can be stashed away for occasional use, a brilliant little thing. And because these are cheap you can buy a few of them and leave them somewhere convenient. I bought two and one is in the boot of my car and the other I take with me when I go out on my motorbike.The construction is pretty good - certainly for the price. Okay, you won't want to carry 50kgs of pig iron around but for a day bag when out and about fine.Its useful too. There are three storage areas - one at the back which is ideal for small things such as tourist maps you get for free, the main section for your guff and a small internal pocket which is less likely to be opened by some ner'do'well without you noticing it which, you can put your phone or small camera in.And best of all when you want to store this back up you fold it inside out back into the integral storage pouch - which actually works. How many times have you bought neatly packaged items that when you want to repack simply won't go? Loads of times in my case. I'm happy to say that in this case its a doddle.Overall a great pack-a-bag item that is properly useful.
